Ever since I was a kid I’ve had terrible lips! It seems I’m allergic to everything and my lips were always dry cracked, flaking, and bleeding. When I was young, I was the kid running around with “Kool-Aid” mouth because I was constantly licking my lips in order to relieve the discomfort, which resulted in a red ring of raw skin around my mouth.
When I got a little older, I discovered lip balm, and while that solved the problem of the red ring, I still had terrible, itchy lips that would crack and bleed, especially in winter.
Over the years, I’ve been a lip balm junky and I’ve tried many, many products at varying price points. I always found Blistex to be best, but it still left a lot to be desired.
Then one day, Amazon’s recommendation feature recommended Dr Dan’s Coritbalm. When I saw that it had hydrocortisone in it, I thought DUH, why didn’t I think of that? I ordered a stick and fell in love.
My lips don’t get itchy anymore, they don’t get excessively dry anymore, they don’t crack, peel, or flake anymore. I LOVE this stuff.
